Valentine Countdown 5,6, 7 and maybe 8

Day 5:  Pencil Toppers- Take a pipe cleaner and push it into the top of the metal part in between the eraser.
After that, wrap it a couple times around the metal part. *you can add a bit of glue to secure it*  Then bend it in any shape you want- I really love how the kinky ones turned out.
If you want to do spiral, hold the pencil next to your pinky finger, and use your pinky to wrap the spiral.
Use Shrinky Dink for the top part, remember to punch your holes before you bake it.  I had punched two holes, but only ended up using the bottom hole.
After you bake the hearts and let them cool, thread the pipe cleaner into the bottom, and fold it over to hold. So CUTE!!

Day 6: They have Rice Krispies Treat that you can WRITE ON!!!!  Any message you want! So fun!
Day 7:  Here is a link to make your own custom Valentine BINGO .  So many options and way to custom it to your kids or Husband- Have Fun!

Day 8:  I actually did this for my Husband for day 5, because I have never seen him use a pencil, but this could be fun to do for a day too!  I use Shrinky Dink and drew and colored a key.  I am going to put on the saying "You hold the key to my Heart"  You could make anything into a keychain-

Reindeer Cookie Sandwhiches

These are great for kids to make. All we did was picked up some Pillsbury sugar cookies. We liked the reindeer ones, they have other options. Then you do the frosting idea that my sister came up with half frosting half cool whip squeeze it inbetween two cookies. We added some sprinkles around the edge to add a little more. Sorry the pictures aren't very pretty, but how pretty are things when you have a two year old helping. We used chocolate fosting... this frosting taste a lot like hot chocolate. So you could make some chocolate cupcakes, and top it with this frosting then put on marshmellows and you have a hot chocolate cupcake! The french vanilla marshmellows would be so good.

Halloween Bouquet

These fun things are actually made out of my kids hand prints.  So this would be a fun Halloween gift along with a treat for Grandparents.  My kids helped me with this project, and for age, I would say this would be best for 4 and up.  My three year old LOVED it, but I had to help him with every step.  My 4 year old was able to trace and cut his own hand out.  Anyway if you really wanted to get fancy you could use dowels for the stems, to make them a little more sturdy to use year after year.

First you trace and cut out a hand.
Then using a pencil curl the fingers.
The you will want to roll the hand up so the fingers are curled outward, and stick a pipe cleaner through the hole at the bottom of the rolled up hand.  I just used what I had around, but it would be fun to use black.
Use a stapler to hold it together down at the bottom.
We added eyes at the bottom to hold them in and some glow-in-the-dark paint to the leaves to make them look really eerie :)-
